The following is a list of frequently asked questions. Please click on a heading below to view the answer.

If the session you require does not appear within the registration system you can Contact Us to indicate your interest. Your request will be noted, and will assist us in identifying and delivering opportunities in a timely manner. You may also subscribe to our mailman list to be notified of upcoming sessions.

Some of the previous course offerings are being revised, and others have been removed since the material covered within them is no longer relevant. To find out specific information about a previous course offering please Contact Us.

To remove your registration please follow these instructions.

1. Login to the PeopleSoft User Training Program registration site with your CCID and password at:

https://hrnet.hrs.ualberta.ca/FLI

2. Scroll down to view the course you are enrolled in which will be listed under the Upcoming Courses Heading

3. Select the Cancel Registration link

Please note that you cannot cancel your registration within 2 days of the session (you will not see a cancel registration link) In this case, please contact us and we will assist you with your last minute cancellation.

To keep informed about upcoming training opportunities you may check the registration website at https://hrnet.hrs.ualberta.ca/FLI/Logon.aspx. We also regularly publish upcoming course offerings to our mailing list. If you would like to subscribe to our mailing list please follow these steps:

  1. Go to our Mailman Subscription Page
  2. Enter your email address and choose a password into the fields provided.
  3. Select the Subscribe button

 

Asking your Supervisor for advice on which sessions would most benefit you in your workplace is the best place to start. Your Supervisor and co-workers will have the best insight into your specific training needs.

2. Select either Course Calendar or Course List from the right hand menu.

3. Browse to find the session that you are interested in

4. Select the Register link next the date of your choice

The training summaries and guides have been moved to appear within the appropriate course description. You can find them on the Courses page. Just expand the course description and look for the links.
